Ahhh!
Finally checked off skydiving from my bucket list. It has been on my
list for a few years and so I made it my goal to cross it off this year.
The year of F It and just do it. I wanted to share my experience with
you all especially with those considering to skydive. My advice is to
JUST DO IT! Yes it’s nerve racking and yes you feel the nasty butterfly
feeling for a few seconds, but I can assure you that it’s an epic
experience.
The scary part is waiting to jump, but once you have I promise, you won’t regret it. It’s like experiencing the world opening up and seeing all the endless possibilities. I, now feel like I can conquer the world.

MY EXPERIENCE: While
making our (my sisters, brother in law and I) way to Santa Barbara we
realized how cloudy it was and feared we wouldn't be able to jump. A few
minutes away from our destination the sky suddenly cleared and we were
pumped (it was meant to be). Upon arrival we checked in, watched a safety video and signed our life away. We then waited about
two hours prior to getting suited. When our names were finally called, we get our suits on and strapped in. It's game time! The plane arrives with 5
minutes or so, we met our jumping partner and off we went. The plane
ride was smooth. I didn’t begin to panic until the plane door opened
and I felt the extremely cold breeze, but there was no backing down
especially because I was the first to jump (Insert crying face
here). Free falling felt just like it does on a rollercoaster drop, but
the feeling only lasts about 5 seconds which I didn’t like - as
you can tell in the video haha. Once that feeling is over, you find
yourself just floating and it’s truly amazing. It’s one of those once in
a lifetime moments.
